November 2019

We're a man down at the moment, but we've still had a busy end to the year. After playing another excellent Oxjam Beeston Takeover, and our first outing to Sheffield's famous West Street Live in October, we started November with a fun gig playing '60s girl group songs at the annual Stars in Their Eyes show at Rough Trade. Later in the month we had a fantastic night with Tim Holehouse, Malcolm Tent and Mike McKinnon, who all brought amazing energy to the Chameleon.

We're now having a short gig break over winter while we deal with various medical issues, but please keep following us on our social media pages where we'll keep you amused with our progress, musings and musical murmurings!

Happy Holidays with love, TMR xXx

September 2019

Didn't we have a lovely time, the day we went to Mossley...

Huge thanks to Brad at IndogoBravo for organising our guest spot on Rik and Brian's Lucky Bag show (Fab Radio International), and the show at The Rising Sun, Mossley with Diablofurs and Scream of Sirens. We will now sleep for a month!

We had great fun playing with A Void at Rough Trade on 3rd May - thanks to everyone for coming out, and to Gavin Morrow for these photographs...

January 2019

Huge thanks to tAngerinecAt for arranging a great show at The Maze this month, where we enjoyed inspiring performances from Katie Mitchell (looped clarinet) and Modulator ESP (ambient electronic soundscapes) as well as from the hosts themselves. We recommend you check out tAngerinecAt's incredible new album Many Kettles

Thanks to Gavin Morrow for these dreamy photographs.

Thanks also to IndigoBravo for having us at this month's Rockin Rotherham show at The Trades, and thanks again to Gavin Morrow who appears to have learned the art of Kirlian photography!

December 2018

The 17th Annual Christmas Covers Party at the Bodega was, as always, the partiest party of the year... Thanks to JC, Nick, Scott and Mark for hosting, and to our LA buddies Diamonds and Rust for this...

November 2018

It may only be November, but according to the telly the festive season is definitely upon us, so it is time to unleash something exciting!

Six years ago, we had a lot of fun making a Christmas single with music producer Richard Solaini, along with a video directed by John Turrell and Tom Turrell - starring Callum and Hannah McNab.

Every year when we share it, we're asked if it'll be released on physical format at any point. Well, we listened, people, here you go!...

Those Old Records Rugeley have released a very limited run of just fifty 8-inch (yes, 8 inch) acetates, with sleeve design and front cover image by Gavin Morrow and inner sleeve photography by Sam Rushmer, available at this linkGet yours while you can - they won't be around for long!

October 2018

After a quiet September, three out of the four of us came out of hibernation for a rare acoustic set at One BC's Halloween-themed birthday bash, held at Arkwright Studios last weekend. It was a unique event, and marked a first for us - our first performance accompanied by ribbon dancers! These two were amazing!

August 2018

Last weekend saw us playing two gigs in two days... First up last was The Waterfront Festival on Saturday, which was a lot of fun and also marked the first outing for Aly's MASSIVE new Flying V... his back may never recover.

Second up was our slot at Mental Fest, which was held over the weekend at Human Canvas Tattoo in Walsall. Huge well done to the team who raised over £1,500 for Papyrus - a charity working for the prevention of suicide in young people. Massive thanks also to Lexi Frances from Midlands Metalheads who interviewed us for her Rule Breakers show. Here's the show for those who might to hear - the interview is at about 1 hour 31 mins.

Our road trip to Ashton-under-Lyne on 11th August was a lot of fun! Thank you to Brad and Steve at IndigoBravo Promotions for organising the event, and to DJ Chez and crew at Oliver's Karaoke Bar for hosting. Special mention also goes to Sound Engineer Rebecca Nicol (who had coincidentally also travelled up from our home town to manage the sound) who did an excellent job!
Thank you Gavin Morrow for photographing the action. Full photo set can be found here.

June 2018

Huge thanks to the Chameleon Arts Cafe for inviting us to play at their fundraiser on 8th June, and to everyone who came along and donated. Loads of money was raised for Framework, and we had a great night with Witches Mark and Diablofurs.

Thank you Gavin Morrow for photographing the action. Full photo set can be found here.

May 2018

We finally got to find out what "Hashrock" was all about last week when we joined in the fun at The Hairy Dog... but that would be telling!

Thank you to everyone who came out of the sunshine to join us in the smoky darkness...

... and thank you to Shaun Morris for this video:
